In the event of hard-to-remove dirt (e.g. sand) the
eye cups can be unscrewed and cleaned very easily.
treatment when wet
If the spotting scope becomes wet, dry the
extendable tube with a cloth. Leave to dry in its
extended position and with the caps on the stay-
on case open.
If necessary, the entire stay-on case should be
removed to help the spotting scope dry out.
removal of the stay-on case
As the stay-on case size is
perfectly sized to fit your
telescope a slight adherent-
effect between the stay-on
case and the extendab-
le telescope may occur
through time. Removing the stay-on case can best
be achieved by holding the telescope with one
hand and pushing the extendable telescope from
the eyepiece side forwards out of the stay-on case.
