THERMAL LIMIT CONTROL
(Continued)
it is recommended that the heater be inspected by a reputable electrician or repair
service to ensure the heater is not damaged.
NoTe: If the heater is operating and a power failure occurs, residual heat may
activate the Thermal Limit Control if the power is restored before the unit is
allowed to cool.
CAUTIoN - Do not continue to attempt to use the heater if the Thermal Limit
Control repeatedly operates after being reset. To do so could permanently
damage the heater or create a fire or safety hazard..
WARNING - Do not tamper with or bypass any safety limits inside the heater.
A secondary or back-up thermal fuse (one-shot) is provided in this heater.
This device will permanently shut down the heater if subjected to a con-
dition where the electronic thermal limit control fails to function as in-
tended. If this back-up device functions, the heater must be inspected and
repaired by a qualified repair service to return it to operation. Do not re-
move or by-pass this device. Doing so could result in a fire or safety hazard.
