THERMAL LIMIT CONTROL
(Manual Reset)
NoTe: The unit features a manual reset Thermal Limit Control that will auto-
matically turn the heater OFF to prevent a fire should the unit overheat due to
an abnormal condition such as the heater exhaust being blocked. All buttons,
button combinations, and button operations will be disabled during the event of
an abnormal condition. Should this device activate, the alarm will sound 10 times
initially and then beep 10 times every 2.5 minutes and a red warning light will
illuminate on the display.
To reset the unit, inspect the unit to determine cause of the abnormal condition
and remove blockages if present. Allow the unit to cool, the red warning light
will begin flashing to signal the heater is ready to be reset. Touch and hold the
POWER
button and UP
button for 1.5 seconds. The unit will return to
normal operation.
CAUTIoN!: The activation of the Thermal Limit Control and red warning light
occurs when the heater overheats. Check heater to make sure there is no block-
age of the heater discharge – if so, remove the blockage. If there is no blockage,
