3. Insert bit or accessory in the chuck.
4. Prepare material for work
5. Secure material, if necessary.
Do not use your own weight or body to hold material.
6. Firmly hold tool with both hands. Always maintain a balanced and secured position.
7. Place bit on material. Do not make sudden movements.
8. Press on trigger switch (6) to start operation.
To start the "continuous running", press on ON/OFF switch then on the locking button (7).
To stop the "continuous running", press again on ON/OFF switch.
9. Once work is finished, stop product by releasing the trigger switch (6).
Notes:
- Place the power tool to the screw/nut only when it is switched off. A rotating bit can slip off.
- Do not operate the power tool in stationary mode. The power tool is not designed for operation in a
drill stand or support.
- Before any intervention or work on the power tool itself, pull the mains plug from power socket.
- After longer periods of working at low speed, allow the power tool to cool down by running it for
approximately 3 minutes at maximum speed with no load.
- Do not put down the power tool until the chuck has completely stopped rotating.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before any intervention on product, ensure that product is disconnected form its
power source.
6.1- Cleaning
Before any intervention or work on the power tool itself, pull the mains plug from power socket.
Always keep the power tool and ventilation holes clean to guarantee safe and proper working
condition.
a) Clean the plastic parts with a soft and clean cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleansing agents (solvents, abrasive cleansers) or an abrasive sponge or any
sharp objects.
- Do not use any caustic chemicals to clean the plastics parts.
- Never put or immerse the product in water or any liquid, and ensure that water does not penetrate
the tool or the charger.
Never splash with water or clean with high pressure hose!
b) Clean chuck with a soft brush.
c) Clean ventilation holes with soft brush.
6.2- Storage
- Clean tool before storage.
- Keep product, user manual and accessories in the original packaging.
- It is recommended to store the product in a clean, dry location, protected from frost, and keep it out
of children's reach (e.g. lock it up).
- Do not store product in temperatures lower than 0ºC (32ºF)
- Do not place or store any object on top of the product.
6.3- Disposal
- Tool: do not dispose with household garbage. Do not throw into the environment.
Dispose of the product in a collection centre for waste of electrical and electronic equipment, or a
waste drop-off centre; or seek advice from your local municipality.
- Proceed with disposal of the tool, accessories and packaging according to local regulations
regarding the protection of the environment.
