Fine tuning JetVac
When operating correctly, the cleaner vacuums, sweeps and scrubs all surfaces randomly throughout the
pool. Its ability to mount the pool wall depends on the shape of the pool, the booster pump flow rate and
pressure. JetVac finds is easier to climb walls in pools where there is a gentle transition between the floor
and the walls. JetVac switches to back-up mode every 3 minutes, this moves the cleaner away from
obstacles, out of corners and enhances its random pattern.
Nota Bene: JetVac's ability to climb the pool wall, or not, is no
indication that it is running correctly. Like any pool cleaner,
Its primary function is to clean the pool floor.
Thrust jet regulation
The thrust jet propels JetVac in a certain direction.
Direction is set in the factory but other positions may be
better suited to the pool shape.
Sweep hose regulation
The sweep hose should move gently. To increase or decrease
the movement of the sweep hose, stop the booster pump
and turn the sweep hose regulation screw.
For other adjustments, see the section on Troubleshooting.

Cleaning the pool filter
Caution: Stop the booster pump before cleaning the pool filter.
Winterizing
Do not store JetVac in an area exposed to sunlight.
Rinse the cleaner and the quick disconnect strainer with clear water before putting it away for the winter.
Make sure that it is totally drained of water (damage caused by freezing of water remaining in the cleaner,
hoses or connection is not covered by the guarantee). Pull the wall fitting our of the vacuum point and store
the hose sections flat.
