CHECKING FOR BLOCKAGES
CHECK HANDHELD
Remove the wand from the handheld vacuum and
check all dust cup intake openings.
CHECK NOZZLE
Detach the wand, then use the edge of a coin to
open the three locks on the bottom of the nozzle.
Remove the cover, then tilt back the neck of the
nozzle and check the opening for blockages.
Replace cover, pressing down firmly on all sides
before turning locks clockwise to close.

THE SELF-CLEANING BRUSHROLL
If any hair is wrapped around the brushroll, continue vacuuming, using setting II, Carpets, on a bare floor
surface, a low-pile carpet, or a small area rug. This will allow the self-cleaning brushroll to remove the hair
wrap and send it to the dust cup. If some fibers remain wrapped around the brushroll after continued use,
take off the brushroll cover to remove them.
1. Using a coin, turn locks counterclockwise to
open, then lift off cover to access Brushroll.
2. Clear blockages from airway.
3. Replace cover, pressing down firmly on all sides
before turning locks clockwise to close.
