Pull back the hand guard to release the chain brake.
f
Remove the clutch cover (Fig. 2.12).
f
Fit the chain on the chain sprocket teeth with the
f
cutters facing in front and drive the chain into the
groove of the bar and around its nose (Fig. 3).
The bar must be pulled forward until the chain is well
f
fitted on the bar (Fig. 5).
Put back to its position the clutch cover and pay spe-
f
cial attention in order to fit correctly the chain ten-
sioner pin, inside the specified mounting point (hole)
of the bar (Fig. 7).
Place back the nuts to the clutch cover, but not screw
f
them up to their final position (Fig. 8).
Use a screw driver to adjust the chain tension proper-
f
ly, using the tension screw (Fig. 8).
Pull the bar nose up, check once again the chain ten-
f
sion and screw the nuts of the clutch cover.
The chain is correctly tensioned when there is no
slack on the underside (Fig. 4) of the bar and it can
be turned freely by hand. When fitting the chain,
the chain tension must be checked frequently. A
correctly tensioned and sharpened chain ensures
good cutting performance and long life.
Note: A new chain is being stretched after approx-
imately 5 cuts and need to be readjusted.
FUELING AND LUBRICATION
The chainsaw is equipped with 2-stroke engine;
therefore, oil mixture of petrol 95 RON and
2-stroke oil, must always being used. It is very
important to pay attention with the fuel mixture
that you use, since accurate mixture of oil and fuel
must be obtained. Small quantities of oil and fuel
mixture with small inaccuracies, can affect the ra-
tio of mixture, which may lead to engine overheat
and serious damages in the engine. Mixture with
fuel of higher Octane is only recommended to be
used, when working continuously at high revs.
Two stroke oil
Especially formulated 2-stroke oil for air cooled
2-stroke engines must be used. Do not use 2-stroke
oil intended for water cooled engines use. Never
use poor quality of oil and 4-stroke engine oil.
Mixing ratio
For best results and performance, the mixing ra-
tio is 1:33 (3%) with oil class JASO FB or ISO EGB,
formulated for air cooled 2-stroke engines.

Always use clean container for fuel before mixing
the fuel. Mix and shake the fuel mixture thorough-
ly, before filling the machine's fuel tank. Do not
use fuel mixture stored for more than a month.
The fuel tank of the machine must be emptied
before storage.
Chain oil
Use special chain oil with good adhesion charac-
teristics. Waste engine oil must never being used,
2-stroke oil, liter 2,5%
(1:33)
0,10lt (100ml)
0,20lt (200ml)
since it can be dangerous for the user and can lead
to the oil pump damage. The chainsaw has been
designed in such a way, where the oil tank must be
filled up every time the fuel tank is getting empty.
Note: Always switch the engine off and let it cool
down, before refueling. Never smoke during the
refueling process.
Note: Never operate the chainsaw with 100% of
petrol, without adding 2-stroke oil.
STARTING THE CHAINSAW
Check the condition of the chainsaw before use,
for damages. If you observe any damage do not
use the chainsaw.
Before starting the chainsaw, follow the below
steps (for cool engine):
Place the chainsaw on the ground.
f
Fill the fuel tank with fuel mixture and the oil tank
f
with chain oil.
Engage the chain brake.
f
Place the main switch (Fig. 1.19) to the ON position.
f
Press the air purge (Fig. 2.14) approximately 6 times
f
and check that it is filled with fuel.
Pull the Choke lever (Fig. 2.18).
f
Hold the front handle with your left hand and place
f
your right foot on the rear handle (Fig. 8).
Pull the starter handle approximately 3 times, until
f
the engine fires.
Push back the Choke lever.
f
Pull the starter handle firmly, until the engine starts.
f
Pull back the hand guard and disengage the chain
f
brake.
Press the throttle lock and the throttle.
f
If the engine is warm follow the above mentioned
steps, without pulling the starter handle when
you pull the Choke lever and before you push it
back again.
WORKING TECHNIQUES
Follow the below mentioned points, in order to
carry out your sawing work safely, without acci-
dents and injuries.
If you are tired do not use the chainsaw.
f
Do not use the chainsaw with bad weather.
f
Always hold the chainsaw with both hands (Fig. 6),
f
while the engine is running.
Make sure that the area around you is free from
f
obstacles, which may interrupt you while you are
cutting or, they may be hurt from falling trees or
branches.
Make sure that you are standing firmly and that there
f
is nothing which can make you losing your balance.
Be aware that kickback accidents mostly happen
f
during limbing.
Never cut at a height over your shoulders and never
f
cut with the nose of the bar (Fig. 11).
Never work standing on a ladder, in a tree or where
f
you do not have firm ground to stand on (Fig. 12).
Use high revs on the engine of the chainsaw, while
f
cutting.
Use idle speed after every cut.
f
Cutting on the push stroke may be dangerous, since
f
a kickback may happen.
