Address selectorr button
With the address selector button and the usual addressing
devices, you can also access slave 2, providing this has a
higher address or the same address as slave 1. Press the
button in order to unlock it. Slave 1 will then be uncoupled
from the AS−Interface bus. If the AS−Interface bus voltage
is connnected, this status will be indicated by the address
selector LED which will light up.
Please note
The red address selector LED must not light up when
the valve terminal is operating.
Lock the address selector button therefore by pressing
it again before the valve terminal is connected to the
AS−Interface bus.
3.2 Assigning the AS−Interface addresses with
addressing devices Spec. 2.1
Recommendation: For addressing use addressing device
type ASI−PRG−ADR with adapter cable type KASI−ADR from
Festo.
The addressing device scans the available slaves in the
AS−Interface network.
Assign the desired addresses to the two slaves one
