Before Initial Use

1. Remove all packaging materials and any possible protective
fi lms used for protection during transportation.
2. Before you fi rst enjoy fresh cold drip coffee, we recom-
mend cleaning all components, apart from the stand, to
remove any possible production residues. To do this, follow
the instructions in the "Cleaning and Care" chapter.
Set-Up
1. Place the stand on a dry, stable, level and water-resistant
surface.
2. Place the longer side of the valve into the silicone plug.
3. Place the silicone plug containing the valve into the valve
opening of the water container. Twist the plug back and
forth a little if necessary. Make sure that it fi ts correctly.
4. Place the water container into the retaining ring of the
stand.
5. Place the coffee container into the coffee jug.
6. Place the lid on the coffee container.
7. Place the coffee jug down on the deposit surface of the
stand.
To fi ll the coffee container, we recommend removing
the coffee jug from the stand together with the coffee
container.
