START-UP AND OPERATION

Important notes
• The plug must be plugged into a separate socket to which no other devices are
connected.
• Do not use an extension cord.
Before first use
• Find a suitable location near an electrical outlet.
• Install the exhaust pipe and window gasket as described in the chapter „Installing
the exhaust duct".
• Insert the plug into the socket.
COOL Mode
• Press the MODE button until the COOL indicator lights.
• Press (+) or (-) to set the desired temperature.
• Press the FAN button and set the desired speed.
DRY Mode
• Press the MODE button until the DRY indicator lights.
• The fan will run at a preset speed.
• Close windows and doors for best dehumidification performance.
Note: The temperature and fan speed cannot be adjusted in this mode. The default
temperature is 25°C (77°F). The default speed is LOW.
