FM MODE Button
Pressing this button alternates between
Stereo mode and Mono mode.
Stereo
FM stereo broadcasts are received in
stereo and the STEREO indicator lights
in the display. If FM broadcasts with
weak signal strength are received, the
FM muting function works automatically
to cut the signals, eliminating loud noise.
Mono
To compensate for weak FM stereo
reception, select this mode. Reception
will now be forced monaural, reducing
unwanted noise.
Direct Tuning
Using this method, the required frequency is
input directly, using the numeric keys on the
remote control unit.

Press the TUNER button.

Select the AM or FM by pressing the
BAND selector button.

Press the DIRECT TUNING button on the
remote control unit.
''DIRECT IN'' appears on the display for a
few seconds.
''FM---.--MHz'' or ''AM----kHz'' appears
on the display.

Input the frequency of the broadcast you
want to hear with the numeric keys.
In some cases, when you press a numeric
key, next digit mightl be filled
automatically. In that case, don't press the
next digit.
Ex: FM 107.5MHz
Press "1" "7" "5" (U.S.A./Canada model)
Press "1" "7" "5" "0" (General Export
model/European model)
< If you press the DIRECT TUNING button
again or without pressing any button for
30 seconds, Direct tuning is released.

Touche FM MODE

Stéréo
Les émissions stéréo FM sont reçues en
stéréo et l'indicateur STEREO est allumé
dans l'affichage. Si des émissions FM avec
un signal faible sont reçues, la fonction de
silencieux

automatiquement pour couper les signaux,
éliminant du bruit parasite.
Mono
Pour compenser la réception stéréo FM
médiocre, sélectionner ce mode. La
réception
sera
alors
monophonique, réduisant des parasites
indésirables.
Syntonisation directe
Avec cette méthode, la fréquence voulue est
entrée directement en utilisant les touches
numériques de la télécommande.

Appuyer sur la touche TUNER.

Sélectionner AM ou FM en appuyant sur
la touche de sélection de gamme (BAND).

Appuyer sur la touche DIRECT TUNING de
la télécommande.
"DIRECT IN" apparaît sur l'affichage
pendant quelques secondes.
''FM---.--MHz'' ou ''AM----kHz'' apparaît
sur l'affichage.

Entrer la fréquence de l'émission que
vous voulez entendre avec les touches
numériques.
Dans quelque cas, quand vous appuyent
sur une touche numérique, le chiffre
suivant est rempli automatiquement. Dans
ce cas, ne pas entrer le chiffre suivant.
Ex: FM 107,5MHz
Appuyer sur "1" "7" "5" (Modèle Etats-
Unis/Canada)
Appuyer sur "1" "7" "5" "0" (Modèle
Exportation générale/Modèle européen)
< Si vous appuyez de nouveau sur DIRECT
TUNING ou sans appuyer sur des touches
pendant 30 secondes, la syntonisation
directe est relâchée.
