The "Miele Service Documentation" (MSD) service application is required for all service work
The warning and safety instructions given in the model-specific technical service documentation must be observed.
Service work must be done following the model-specific work instructions.

There may be hot water in the fluff filter compartment. Scalding can occur when coming into contact with hot water
during service work.

Before starting service, drain the water from the fluff filter compartment.
Risk of burns when carrying out service work
WARNING

Risk of burns when carrying out service work.
Touching hot surfaces can cause burns.

Before starting service, let all surfaces cool down.
Fluff filter compartment assembly
NOTE
Risk of tipping over
The fluff filter compartment can tip over if the floor is uneven.
A
Only install the fluff filter compartment on a level floor.
A
Install an M6 nut with 8.4 washer on the threaded bolt on each side of the fluff filter compartment; see Fig. 1.
A
Install one mounting bracket on each threaded bolt; see Fig. 2.
A
Adjust the height of the fluff filter compartment to match the washing-machine drain.
A
Tighten the nuts with 10 Nm torque.
A
Stick the "Caution: Hot surfaces" label in a visible place on the fluff filter compartment housing.
A
Connect the fluff filter compartment to the washing machine and the drain in accordance with the installation plan.
