Changing the operating mode

After start-up, the camcorder is in video recording mode.
You can start recording videos or taking photos immediately.
 Press the MODE button to switch between the video and photo
modes.
 Press the PLAYBACK button to switch from recording mode to
playback mode.
 Press the PLAYBACK button again to switch from playback
mode back to recording mode.

Video playback

There are different options for viewing the video recordings saved
in the internal memory or on the optional memory card.
 Press the PLAYBACK button to activate playback in the
previously selected mode (video or photo).
 Press the RECORD button to start or stop playback.
 Press the W button to pause playback.
 You can set the volume in the Settings menu.
Playback on the LCD display
Proceed as follows to view video recordings on the camera's LCD
display:
 Press the PLAYBACK button in video mode.
The most recently recorded video will be shown.
 Press the W button to open the thumbnail view.
 Select the desired video using the
