TA button (10)
This button toggles on/off traffic announcements.
• If the current station is a traffic news station, the display will show "TP" (traffic programme).
•
When you keep the TA button pressed, "TA" is displayed. Now you can only receive stations with TA signals.
•
If a different audio source is being played (a CD for instance), it will be muted during the traffic announcement.
•
If you listen to a radio programme at a very low volume, the volume will automatically be increased to a clearly
audible level (volume can be set under RDS SETUP > TA VOL). When the traffic announcement is over, the
previous volume will be restored.
Depending on whether you have set TA SEEK or TA ALARM (see "Menu settings"), the radio
automatically seeks a new traffic news station or plays an alarm sound.

remote control.
•
A station search for a station using the previously selected PTY code is started.
•
If no station is found, the device issues a warning signal and shows PTY NONE on the display (7).
RPT/P.SCN button (33)
• If you press this button shortly, the stations stored on station buttons 1-6 (3, 4, 5, 18, 19, and 21) will be played
for some seconds each. To stop this function, press the button again.
•
If you hold the button down for a while, all stations with a good signal will automatically be stored under station
buttons 1-6 (3, 4, 5, 18, 19, and 21).
