Larger ranges than 500 m
(547 yds.) are not permissible,
not even for larger conductor
cross sections!
Door loudspeaker - line rectifier
The loop resistance (feed and return
circuit) must not exceed 8 Ω. With a
wire diameter of 0,8 mm (20 AWG),
a range of approx. 100 m (109 yds.)
for „+" and „-" wire can be reached
and 50 m for "b" und"c".
In this case doubling up is
possible
Door release
Standard commercially available
door release with 8-12 V AC, max.
1 A current consumption can be
connected. Siedle door releases are
high-resistance appliances, > 20 Ω,
and offer optimum operating relia-
bility even over long distances.
Conductor routing
In order to fulfil the general safety
requirements for communication
facilities, and in order to avoid inter-
ferences, heavy and light current
conductors must be routed separa-
tely observing a minimum distance
apart of 10 cm (3,9 in.). Do not
mount devices in boiler rooms.
Safety regulation
The potential-free contacts in the
PBX-central for door release (To, To')
and door loudspeaker connection
(Ts,Ts') must have „potential sepa-
ration" between TNV (telephone
network voltage) and SELV (safety
extra low voltage, max 42 V) as per
European regulations EN 60 950.
Mounting
2 Installing the P.O.amplifier unit
and line rectifier/transformer on the
top hat rail (distribution).
3 Surface mounting with accessories
ZAP 502-0 and ZN 402-01.
Important
When surface mounting, protection
against direct touch from activated
parts must be ensured.
Note the respective regulations.

1 Vario entryway speaker
P.O.amplifier unit
any number of HTS/HTG 711-...,
HTC 711-... system telephones on
the trunk line
Function
Call, speech, door release and light
mode between entryway speaker
and any number of system tele-
phones. Audio privacy function to
exclude third parties. Permanently
integrated electronic call signal
generator in all system telephones.
In response to a call from the entry-
way speaker, the 3-tone call is heard
in the HTC 711-.. if the „G" terminal
is not connected; if the „G" terminal
is connected, the 3-tone chime is
heard. Only the 3-tone call is heard
in the HTS 711-... . In response to a
storey call, a 2-tone call is always
heard. Door release mode and light
actuation is possible at all times.
Each system telephone HTS 711-...
can be replaced by a PVG 602-...
with separate line rectifier.
If the door release should be tam-
per-proof, i.e. not connected to the
entryway speaker, the CTÖ 602-0
must be used. Additional wires are
required for this purpose. For con-
nection see „Planning and installa-
tion, Door and In-house communica-
tion" or CTÖ 602-0 product infor-
mation.

Attention
The system telephones HTS/HTG/
HTC 711-... are not required if the
entryway speaker only is connected
to the P.O.amplifier unit.
Remarks on the wiring diagram
a
The identical terminals must be
connected if several button modules
are used.
If the TLE 061-... built-in entryway
speaker is used, see comparison in
„Planning and installation, Entryway
and house telephony".
For the connection of the accessory
diode ZD 512-4 and ZD 061-10, see
relevant product information.
If several cables are used to the
system telephones, the ringdown
lines and the wires of the joint
terminal „1" TL/HT must be in the
same cable and both wires connec-
ted to the same entryway speaker.
Valid only for the system tele-
phones HTS/HTG/ HTC 711-...

The activation of, e.g. the stairway
light is carried out via the light
button integrated in the system
telephone and the entryway speaker
in connection with a time delay relay
(ZR 502-0).
e
The activation, e.g. of the stairway
light is performed via the light
button integrated in the system
telephone and the entryway speaker
in connection with a time delay relay
(ZR 502-0).
Various control functions may be
performed with the 6 additional,
permanently integrated buttons on
the HTC 711-... in connection with
the switching/remote controller. See
the relevant SFC 602-0 product
information. Buttons 5 and 6 may
also be used as potential-free but-
tons as required. However additional
wires are required for this purpose.
The additional LEDs may be used as
needed, e.g. to display an open
door. Com-mon reference point
„La", operating voltage 12 V AC.
Additional wires are required for this
purpose.
See the relevant HTC 711-... product
information.
Further diagrams can be requested
from the factory.
