The following is the ADVANCED CONFIGURATION menu in detail:
PID MANAGEMENT: manages the additional PIDs relevant to specific programmes:
ADD PIDs: enters additional PIDs,
ADDED PIDs: displays the PIDs added in the previous menu,
REMOVE PIDs: removes the previously added PIDs,
LIST OF REMOVED PIDs: displays the PIDs removed from the previous menu,
SET TO ZERO ADDED PIDs: sets to zero the added PIDs,
RESTORE THE REMOVED PIDs: restores the PIDs that were removed by mistake,
ONID: manually sets the code that identifies the broadcaster,
TSID: manually sets the code that identifies the transponder.
Programming and setting the modulation parameters of the KSTT module must be carried out carefully in the
following mode. In particular, the total bitrate of the output programs must be lower than the maximum threshold
defined by the COFDM modulation parameters. If the total bitrate of the output programs overcomes the accepted
bitrate, the module generates a bitrate overflow event.
To know the maximum available bitrate, refer to the following tables where the bitrate values in bit/s are shown
according to a few COFDM modulation parameters (constellation, FEC, guard interval). The measurements refer
to an output frequency bandwidth equal to 8 MHz and 8K carriers; these values will be lower if a width of 6 MHz
or 7 MHz is set.
