INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING AND MAINTAINING THE AGRATOR SHREDDER.
AGRATOR want to thank you for your trust in our products after having chosen one of our
shredders. As with any Agrator machine, these shredders are manufactured with the most
advanced and most modern techniques available on the market.
To ensure that your machine works perfectly for a long period of time we would like to give
you a few practical tips on how to handle it. This will help you to avoid unnecessary
breakdowns, which are caused generally by incorrect handling. It is also essential to
perform all maintenance operations to ensure efficient repair work. It is in your interest
therefore to read and follow the following instructions closely.
General:
The problem-free performance and duration of this machine depend mainly on careful
handling and regular servicing.
For your own interest, bear in mind that any repair or adjustment must be carried out when
the machine is completely stopped and it is forbidden to change any of the safety
adjustments.
THE TRACTOR HOOK UP
1.-Place the strut in the top hole so that the machine is perfectly horizontal.
2.-Place the tractor close to the machine and insert the studs of the machine into the hook-
up bars and secure with the fastening pins.
3.-Lift the hook of the third hydraulic point on the tractor enough to release the strut and
slide it upwards in order to place it in the lower hole in the rest position.
4.-Lower the machine using the tractor's hydraulic system in order to connect the arm of
the machine.
5.-Connect the PTO-shaft joints between the grooved PTO shaft of the tractor and the
gearbox shaft, bearing in mind that the centring and decentring angle must not exceed
30° of the horizontal.
