6.6. Emergency Switch

In an emergency situation, actuate the emergen-
cy stop switch (44) by tight pressing. This inter-
rupts the voltage supply to the MAESTRO 4M.
It may be switched on again by turning the
switch. At this moment the same start routine is
performed as when switching the device on via
power switch.

6.7. Error Messages

Errors during the operation of the MAESTRO 4M
are indicated by blinking of a LED in one of the
outermost positioning press-keys (42), depen-
dent upon the direction of travel.
There are three conditions where one LED blinks
as follows:
• After switching on the machine
(no error, see chapter 6.2.)
• In the event of the upper blade being blocked,
for example, when trying to cut beside the
pre-scored groove (overload protection)
• If the foot switch is being released before
the completion of the movement of the blade
carrier and, thereby, the movement is inter-
rupted.
In the two latter cases, the blade carrier will
perform a short backward movement.
The blinking key has to be pressed and the
blade carrier will move back to the respective
end position by permanent operation of the foot
switch. At the same time the piece of jammed
material should be released. The machine
should now be switched OFF and examined
for any possible damage. Once everything is
found to be in order, the machine can be put into
operation again.
The LED's in both outermost positioning keys
(42) will blink, if the blade carrier is moved whilst
it is disconnected from the motor-drive, but
whilst the machine is switched ON. In this case,
the motor-drive should be reconnected and the
machine switched OFF and ON again.

6.6. Interrupteur de secours

Dans une situation critique presser l'interrupteur
de secours (44).
Le branchement du MAESTRO 4M est coupé.
En tournant l'interrupteur le branchement de la
machine est remis. En ce cas le même proces-
sus à ce que la mise sous-tension se passe.

6.7. Correction d'erreur

Les états d'erreurs de la MAESTRO 4M en
fonctionnement, sont indiqués par les leds
clignotantes des touches externes (42).
Il existe 3 états indiqués par une led clignotante :
• Après la mise sous tension
(cf. Para. 6.2.)
• Si le support du couteau supérieur se
bloque, par exemple une tentative de coupe
hors rainure. (Protection de surcharge)
• Un appui trop bref ou la libération de la
pédale de déclenchement avant la fin de
l'opération.
Les deux derniers états d'erreurs provoquent
une légère marche arrière du couteau.
Appuyer sur la touche clignotante. Presser
longue le pédale et le couteau va retourner dans
sa position d'attente initial et ainsi libérer la carte
bloquée.
Eteindre la machine et vérifier qu'elle n'a pas été
endommagée. Si l'état de la machine ne pose
pas de problème, le processus de coupe peut
être repris.
Si le couteau supérieur est débrayé du moteur
et déplacé manuellement, les deux touches
extérieur (42) vont clignoter. Dans ce cas ré-
embrayer le moteur, éteindre puis rallumer la
machine.
