Disconnect the A/C power supply when not in use. This reduces the risk of injury to children
and inexpert persons.
Disconnect the A/C power supply from the outlet before servicing or cleaning. This reduces the
risk of electric shock.
Do not use the A/C power supply in a humid, wet, or explosive environment. Do not expose to
rain, snow or dirt. Dirt and humidity increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not open the housing of the A/C power supply or of the mini VISIOVAL. Have repairs done
only by the Virax after-sales service.
Do not use the power cord to carry the A/C power supply. This reduces the risk of electric shock.
Battery safety
The mini VISIOVAL's battery is not designed to be replaced by the user. Contact the Virax after-
sales service if you think the mini VISIOVAL's battery needs servicing.
Exposure to high temperatures may cause the battery to explode, hence, do not dispose of
battery in a fire. Some countries have regulations concerning battery disposal. Please observe
local laws and regulations.
Charge the battery at a temperature between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C (113 °F). Keep the mini
VISIOVAL at a temperature between -20 °C (-4 °F) and 60 °C (140 °F). Long term storage at
temperatures above 35 °C (95 °F) will decrease the mini VISIOVAL's capacity. It is recommended
that the mini VISIOVAL be stored at 25°C (77°F) to maximize battery life. Careful use will prevent
damage to the battery. Improper use of the battery may cause the battery to leak, result in electric
shock and burns.
If the mini VISIOVAL is damaged, do not connect the A/C power supply. Do not try to charge it.
Never use a home-made or inappropriate battery. This may result in damage to the products
and/or cause injury.
Never take the mini VISIOVAL apart. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Taking the mini
VISOVAL apart may cause electric shock or injury.
Avoid contact with any liquids which may leak from the mini VISIOVAL. The liquids may cause
burns. Rinse with plenty of water in case of accidental contact with the liquid. If the liquid touches
the eyes, call a physician immediately.
