Quick Setup tab

Configure your WiFi powerline adapter by following the steps in the Quick Setup menu.
Point d'accès (Access point): Adds wireless access to your wired network.
Point d'accès (Access point) is selected and then click Suivant (Next).
Enter a WiFi network name if you want to change the network name. The default network name is
CPL_WIFI_1200_2.4G_XXXXXX or CPL_WIFI_1200_5G_XXXX depending on the type of network
you want to use.
Select the channel.
Select the security level, then enter the security key (located on the WiFi powerline adapter).
Click Suivant (Next).
Click Sauvegarder (Save) to save your settings.

PARAMETRES WI-FI (WIFI SETTINGS)
This page allows you to set up the 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz WiFi network.
Wireless: Enable or disable the WiFi setting.
Network mode: Select the right mode based on your wireless clients.
11b: This network mode offers a wireless speed of up to 11 Mbps. It is only compatible with 11b
wireless clients.
11g: This network mode offers a wireless speed of up to 54 Mbps. It is only compatible with 11g
wireless clients.
11b/g: This network mode offers a wireless speed of up to 54 Mbps. It is only compatible with
11b/g wireless clients.
11b/g/n: This network mode offers a wireless speed of up to 300 Mbps. It is only compatible with
11b/g/n wireless clients.
SSID: Displays the name of the WiFi network (by default CPL Wi-Fi 1200_XXXX).
Broadcast (SSID): Select Activé (Enabled) to allow the powerline adapter to search for wireless devices.
The default value is Activé (Enabled). If you disable this option, wireless devices must recognise the
adapter's SSID (network name) to establish a wireless link.
Channel: This option allows you to select a channel. The default value is Autosélection (Auto-select).
Channel bandwidth: Select the appropriate channel bandwidth to improve wireless performance. Select
20/40 when the network has wireless clients in 11b/g and 11n mode. Select 20 when the network has
only wireless clients in non-11n mode. Select 40/80 to increase its speed when the wireless network
is in AC mode.
