NOTE: The Solo WiFi powerline adapter does not allow you to create a network. At least two powerline
adapters are necessary to create a high-speed network. The Solo WiFi powerline adapter only allows
you to transform an existing wired network into a wireless network.
These adapters are a HOMEPLUG AV standard device. Each adapter has a pre-set network name.
Several powerline adapters with the same network names can communicate with each other and
therefore belong to the same network group. WiFi powerline adapters with a different network name
cannot communicate with each other.
By default, a network made up of HOMEPLUG AV standard WiFi powerline adapters will be called
HomePlugAV. Homeplug-AV WiFi powerline adapters of different brands can also communicate with

network configuration
Configuring your WiFi powerline adapters allows you to extend your existing wired Ethernet network as
well as your network's WiFi coverage.
Automatic pairing of powerline adapters
1.
In room A, plug the powerline adapter into an electrical outlet. Then connect your router/ADSL modem
to the power outlet using an RJ-45 Ethernet cable.
2.
In room B, plug the WiFi powerline adapter into an electrical outlet. Powerline adapter technology
transmits the Internet via your electrical grid. The WiFi powerline adapter receives the network and
broadcasts it over WiFi within an average radius of 200 meters.

Connecting the WiFi powerline adapter to your computer
Before you begin any of the connection procedures, make sure the WiFi indicator light is a steady green.
If it is not, check that you have completed the adapter connection steps correctly. If the problem remains,
