6. Secure the lid on the mixing bowl and insert it in the motor unit. If you do not want to
steam, close the opening in the lid with the enclosed measuring cup.
9. To heat up or cook the ingredients, push the TEMP button and select a temperature
between 30 °C and 120 °C with the rotary knob. NOTE: The temperature can only be
set with a preselected cooking time (see above).
10. To set the cross-blade adapter for blending and chopping, push the SPEED button
and then select a low speed with the rotary knob. Later, during operation, slowly in-
crease the speed to the desired level. NOTE: The maximum speed level is 4 when the
contents of the mixing bowl are warm or when the heating function is on.
If you only want to stir and not chop the ingredients, select 0L.

■ Overheating of the device! At maximum speed (10) use the device continuously for
no more than 2 minutes without stopping. Then, let the device cool off for a short time
before using it again.
The maximum speed level is 4 when the contents of the mixing bowl are warm or
when the heating function is on. Cold ingredients are therefore suitable for fast
mixing and chopping. The heat function should be switched off.

instructions in the previous section "Basic use of the device".
