The equipment will heat as soon as the set
desired temperature exceeds the measured room
temperature. The fan continues to run for a while
after the equipment has been switched off .
6.3 Setting the heat outputs (Fig. 4a/4b/5)
With the heating function switched on, press
the "Mode" button (H). The "L" LED will come on
and "Lo" will appear briefl y in the display. The
equipment will heat with its low heat output. The
"L" LED will be on and the room temperature
measured on the equipment will appear in the
display. If you press the "Mode" button (H) again,
the equipment will heat with maximum heat
output again. The "H" LED will be on and "HI" will
appear briefl y in the display.
6.4 Setting the heat period (Fig. 4a/4b/5)
With the heating function switched on, press the
"Timer" button (L). You can set an operating time
in hours of 1H, 4H, 8H or 12H. The corresponding
LED then lights up. The equipment switches off
after completion of the operating time or if you
press the "ON/OFF" button (F).
6.5 Switching the oscillation function on/off
(Fig. 4a/4b/5)
Press the "OSC" button (K) and the
corresponding LED lights up.
The equipment will swivel approx. 35° to
the left and 35° to the right. To switch off the
"oscillation" function and have the appliance blow
in one specifi c direction only, press the "OSC"
pushbutton again.
6.6 Topple cut-out
This will trip as soon as the equipment is tipped
beyond a certain angle. You can continue using
the equipment as described above after you have
returned to its upright position.
6.7 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating, the heat output or
the equipment will shut down automatically. In this
case switch off the equipment completely and un-
plug it from the mains power. Allow the appliance
to cool for about 15 minutes. After eliminating the
cause (e.g. a covered air grille), the equipment
can be switched on again as described above. If
the overheating guard triggers repeatedly or the
equipment cannot be switched on, please contact
your customer services workshop.

7. Replacing the power cable

Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the mains power plug before star-
ting any cleaning work.
The equipment must have cooled down.
8.1 Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner.
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
8.2 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.
