Parental control levels for video content vary
depending on the content.
In some regions, movies are given ratings based on a
system operated by the Motion Picture Association.

• The parental control level can be checked under
"Information" in the options menu.
• Content that has been restricted by the parental control
feature is displayed as

Internet browser
The parental control feature does not selectively
restrict the viewing of Web sites. However, you can
restrict the ability to start the Internet browser by
requiring the security settings password. Select

Select "Parental Control Level" from
(Security Settings) under
the home menu, and then press the
button.
The password entry screen is displayed.

Using the directional buttons, enter the
4-digit password, and then press the
button.
When entering a password for the first time after
purchase, enter "0000".

Select a level, and then press the
button.
The parental control level is set.
To change the password, select "Change Password" under
(Settings)
(Security Settings).
