ROGUE™ Ice Drill is powered by an 80 Volt / 2.5 Amp-
Hour Battery which offers superior drilling performance.
Jiffy® Rogue™ Quick Start
1.
Remove all JIFFY® Rogue™ contents from carton:
powerhead, battery charger, battery, and auger.
2.
Connect powerhead to auger with the use of our EZ-
connect pin and collar making sure the pin is inserted
thru both the auger shaft and output shaft of the
powerhead and sliding the yellow EZ connect collar over
the pin fully and giving the collar ¼ turn to lock the pin in
place.
3.
Slide battery onto the battery charger making sure it is
fully seated into the charger. Leave the battery on the
charger until fully charged.
4.
When the battery charger indicated the battery is fully
charged by having a solid green light on the charger the
battery can be removed from the battery charger and the
battery charger can be unplugged from the wall at this
time.
Note: the battery charger should always be unplugged
from the wall outlet when not in use.
5.
Once the battery is fully charged and removed from the
battery charger it can be slid into the powerhead. Using
the battery slides will guide the battery into the
powerhead. press firmly on the battery until you hear a
click and see that the yellow locking leaver on the
powerhead is fully engaged on the battery, locking the
battery in place.
6.
Remove the blade protector from the cutting blade.
7.
Your Jiffy® Rogue™ is now ready for use cutting holes
in the ice. When not in use, stow in a safe place with the
blade protector snapped onto the cutting head.
Forward / Reverse
Your Jiffy® Rogue™ can run in forward or reverse. This feature
can be switched while the powerhead is at rest or in motion.
When the powerhead is changing direction while in motion the
powerhead will come to a complete stop and then change
direction all without releasing off the throttle switches. The power
head will have a brief pause in between changing direction.
Throttle / Deadman
To power your Jiffy® Rogue™ it will have a throttle trigger and a
Deadman trigger. Both triggers will have to be depressed for the
motor to power up and rotate the auger.

rotate the auger. Both the throttle trigger and the Deadman trigger
will need to be depressed fully for the auger to rotate.
High Icehouse / turbo
Your Jiffy® Rogue™ is equipped with 2 speed selection motor.
The 2 speeds are High Icehouse or Turbo. The High icehouse
speed is great for deep ice drilling, 10-inch diameter drills, and
when drilling in icehouses. The Turbo mode is great for when you
want to drill a hole very fast to be able to get you fishing as quick
as possible.
LED Dome Light
Your Jiffy® Rogue™ will be equipped with 2 LED lights on the
bottom side of the powerhead. the lights will turn on when the
switch that is located on the right side of the powerhead cover is
switched to the on position. The LED dome lights will illuminate
the cutting area to see while drilling at night and can be used as
lights to see around your Icehouse when not drilling. The LED
lights will stay switched on if the rocker switch is turned on and the
battery is locked in the powerhead.
Lithium Ion Battery
Extreme cold weather operation
The Lithium Ion battery can be used in temperatures down to (10°F
/ -12°C). If your battery is not performing well check to make sure
the battery is fully charged and warm. Having a warm battery will
always preform the best and give long battery life. If your battery is
cold and will not power the motor, place battery is warm location for
30 minutes and try to power motor again once battery warmed up.
Note: always store battery is warm dry location.
