Drill a hole (Ø 170 mm) in the ceiling at the point where the cooker hood is to
hang later. If the ceiling is made of wood, mark the holes using the suspension
plate and drill 8 holes in the ceiling. Then fasten the suspension plate to the
wooden ceiling using eight ST6x40 mm countersunk head screws. If the ceiling
is concrete, drill only 6 holes and fix the suspension plate to the concrete ceiling
with six Ø6x60 mm anchor bolts (see picture 2).

Calculate the length of the angle irons so that the distances (see Fig. 1) are
observed. Connect the angle irons using 18 M4x10 mm screws, M4 nuts and
washers. The overlap of the angle irons should be more than 100 mm (see
figure 3).
