To release the steam:
When the heat source has been turned off, you have two options:
Gradual decompression: lift the valve to the first notch of the steam release
rod or remove it
Fast decompression: Run cold water into your sink and submerge the bottom
of your pressure
operating valve: your pressure cooker is no longer under pressure. Remove
the valve

Open the pressure cooker.
Safety
When in use, if the steam release value becomes blocked, two overpressure
safety measures are activated:
First measure: the safety valve releases the pressure.
Second measure: a leak occurs between the lid and pan by deformation of
the clamp lock.
If one of the overpressure safety systems is activated
Turn off the heat source.
Let the pressure cooker cool down.
Open the pressure cooker
Check the steam release rod, operating valve, safety valve and seal.

Recommendations for use

- Ensure close supervision if your pressure cooker is used near children.

- It is normal for a little steam to escape from the safety valve.

- Steam is very hot when it leaves pressure cooker. Be careful not to
burn yourself. Use oven mitts if necessary.

- To move the pressure cooker, use the handles.

- Never leave food in the pressure cooker.

- Never use bleach or products containing chlorine.

- Do not leave the lid to soak. Do not put the lid in the dishwasher.

- Change the seal every year or if a split appears.

- Do not use a sharp or pointed object to clean the valves.
