Models with Rear Guard (E)

Attach the tube assembly to the machine at the upper
mount (B) and three spacers tubes (H) between the Rear
Guard with spacer plate (G) on the inside of the Rear
Guard with three 5/16" -18 x 1 1/2" hex head fl ange bolts
and nuts.

Installing Bagger Straps
5.
Install the mount straps (I/J), bends to the inside, on the
outside of the mount tube using 5/16"-18 x 2" carriage
bolts and nuts using a 1/2 socket.
6.
Attach the front end of the mount straps to the fuel tank
brackets with 5/16"-18 x 1" carriage bolts and nuts.

To prevent contact of the of the support straps with the
EFM (Electronic Fuel Management) box on the engine
or other critical components, place the foam strip (K)
on the inside of the strap after cleaning surface of
grease or debris, to prevent contact with least clearance
critical component. (Illustration location is approximate.
May be needed on right or left depending on engine
manufacturer.)
8.
Tighten all hardware.
COVER ASSEMBLY
NOTE: For ease of assembly, you may wish assistance from
another person for mounting the cover assembly to mower.
1.
Lift and rotate cover to align the cover brackets (A) with
support assembly tubes (B).
2.
Slide the cover down over the support tubes until secure.

CONTAINER INSTALLATION
1.
Install containers on support frame, overlapping containers
at center tube.
2.
Close cover and lock latch handle over support tubes.
NOTE: One container should always overlap the other container
at the center tube.

LOWER CHUTE
CAUTION! Before raising the defl ector shield, turn
the mower engine off . DO NOT remove the defl ector shield
from the mower. Raise and hold the shield when attaching
the lower chute. Allow the shield to rest on the chute while
in operation.
1.
Raise the mower deck to its highest cutting position.
2.
Raise and hold the defl ector shield in the upright position.
3.
Set the lower chute over the mower opening and align
the holes on the lower chute with the holes on the mower
deck.
4.
Insert the 5/16-18 x 1 carriage bolts (A) through the mower
and chute and fasten with knobs (B).

ASSEMBLY
UPPER CHUTE
1.
Lower the mower deck to the lowest cutting position.
2.
Insert the upper chute through the opening in the cover
assembly, twisting the chute to keep the cover gasket in
place. Handle the chute carefully to prevent damage to the
full bag indicator.

3.
Move the upper chute onto lower chute, lining up the
notches and channels.
4.
Stretch bungee latch up onto acorn nut on upper chute.

INSTALLING COUNTERWEIGHTS
1.
Install the counterweight mounting bracket assembly (A)
onto the front frame between the casters parallel to the
front cross brace and pushed as far away from the casters
as possible to prevent interference.
2.
Secure the 1/2"-13 U-bolts (B) under the frame and up
through the bracket ends. Fasten the U-bolts with supplied
nuts in the holes indicated in the image for your specifi ed
unit with a 3/4" socket.

3.
Remove the retainer (C) and washer (D) from the
assembly latch rod (E) and slide the rod out of the bracket.

4.
Set the supplied counterweights (F) into the mounting
bracket, leaving the right-hand side slots open as viewed
while sitting on the unit.

5.
Reinstall the latch rod and secure it with the washer and
retainer pin.
PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
Before using this collection system, parking brake must be
adjusted to 3.18 cm (1.25 in) when parking brake is in the on
position.
1.
Park mower on a level surface.
2.
Apply parking brake.
3.
Using pliers, hold brake cable (A) in location shown in
illustration.

Using a 1/2" wrench, loosen jam nut (B).
4.
Using a 1/2" wrench, turn the 5/16" lock nut (C) in the
proper direction to achieve the correct measurement of
3.18 cm (1.25 in).
5.
Using a 1/2" wrench, tighten jam nut.
6.
Repeat on other side.
