17. Troubleshooting

If errors occur, check first whether you can correct the
problem yourself. The following list may help you.
CAUTION
Never try to repair the device your-
self. Contact our service centre or an-
other suitable specialist workshop if
a repair is necessary.
Problem
The
POWER
LED does
not light up.
The LAN
LED does
not light up.
Possible cause
Is the Powerline
Adapter correct-
ly connected to
the mains?
Is the LAN cable
(RJ45) correct-
ly connected to
the adapter and
the computer or
router?
Is the computer/
router switched
on?
Rectification
 Try unplug-
ging the Power-
line Adapter and
plugging it back
in again.
 Check the LAN
card and/or DSL
connection of
your computer.
 Switch on net-
work devices.
