• Visibility Status
− If you select VISIBLE, the SSID is discoverable
by all other Wi-Fi devices.
− If you select INVISIBLE, the SSID is not broad-
cast and other Wi-Fi devices must know the cor-
rect SSID before making a connection.
• Region
Select the country in which you are operating the
Powerline Adapter.
• 802.11 Mode
Select the appropriate Wi-Fi mode for your wireless
network. The standard setting is mixed 802.11b/g/n.
• Bandwidth
For all 802.11 Wi-Fi modes that are compatible with
802.11n, you can manually adjust the bandwidth here.
• Wireless Channel
Set the wireless channel here that the Powerline
Adapter should use for broadcasting its Wi-Fi network.
The standard setting is AUTOSCAN. In this setting the
Powerline Adapter automatically seeks out the best
wireless channel. After you have made the wireless
settings, click Next:
