Chapter III Instructions
ATTENTION –
•
The grill has been designed for professional use and should only be used by qualified personnel.
•
The user is allowed to use and clean the grill.
•
All of the operations regarding installation and extraordinary maintenance (replacing components
and various repairs) must be carried out by qualified technicians. We recommend drawing up an
annual maintenance contract.
3.1 Preliminary warnings before putting into service
Before turning the grill on, please respect the following precautions and warnings.
•
Check that the grill is solidly fixed to the table and that the gas pipe is safely installed. Make sure that
nothing obstructs the airflow to the appliance and that the systems for extracting the fumes produced
during cooking are efficient, as is the general ventilation system in the room. Move any combustibles
away from the grill (plastic cutlery, paper, bottles containing flammable liquids).
•
Place the lava stones uniformly in a mosaic on the grates. Add or wash them if necessary.
•
Use heat-resistant gloves and the relevant hooks available from the manufacturer to lift the grills or
work on the grill when it is on and hot.
•
Before you start cooking food, pour little water into the grease drawers (this makes cleaning easier).
Only pull the drawer out of the grill when it has cooled.
•
Keep an eye on the grill when it is on and remember to close the gas tap upstream when you have
finished using it.
•
Each of the two cooking units of the grill has thermocouples that cut off the gas if the flames blows
out accidentally; these are positioned in the pilot group and connected to the gas taps.
