The value defines a certain degree of activity that is important for a medium-term or a
long-term consideration. You can chose between 4 activity degrees for each profile by
using the arrow keys. Please confirm your choice and press "SET".
Defining the different degrees of activity:
- Degree 1: No physical exercise
- Degree 2: Only little exercise such as promenades, working in the garden or gymnastics.
- Degree 3: Medium physical exercise ( 30 minutes physical exercise from 2 up to 4 times
per week minimum)
- Degree 4: High physical exercise (30 minutes physical exercise from 4 up to 6 times
per week minimum)
After having finished the set up of your data the symbol "0,0" appears on the display.
The smartLAB
®
fit body analyser scale is ready to start the measurement.

Measuring

After having determined all parameter and user profiles body weight, adipose and the
other values can be determined.
• Please press „SET" and choose your user profile by using the arrow keys. Do NOT
confirm by pressing "SET" since you would have to insert and confirm again all para-
meters such as gender, body weight etc.
• The measurement starts automatically after a few seconds. First of all your smartLAB
fit body analyser scale detects your body weight (left display segment). After that
the measurement of the other parameter will start. You will can see three circles
on the display segments concerned (please refer to chapter display & functions in
this user manual). The scale is detecting the other parameters – content of water,
content of muscles and bone mass (see picture 3).
• Finally all values are displayed (see picture 4). After a few seconds the indication of
the body weight changes into the indication of the calorie consumption (see picture
5), then into the indication of the activity (in kcal). In addition the activity index is
