5. Remove the bolts and washers securing the right hand
deck pulley to the spindle with a 1/2" wrench. Do not
remove the pulley.
6. Install new drive pulley on top of the current deck pulley,
placing spacers (E) in between. Use a 1/2" wrench to
secure the three 2-1/2" bolts and spring washers to the top
of the pulley. See illustration.
7. Reinstall the deck belt.

INSTALLING COUNTER WEIGHTS
NOTE: The 48" drive kit includes weight plates and mounting
hardware that are not needed. Discard and use the
counterweights included with the collection system.
1. Install the counterweight mounting bracket assembly (A)
onto the front frame between the casters. Secure the
U-bolts (B) under the frame and up through the bracket
ends. Fasten the U-bolts with supplied nuts.
2. Remove the retainer (C) from the assembly latch rod (D)
and slide the rod out of the bracket.

3. Set the three counterweights (E) into the mounting
bracket, leaving the right hand side slots open.

4. Reinstall the latch rod and secure it with the retainer.
MOUNTING BLOWER ASSEMBLY
1. Locate the lower rear latch assembly (A) attached to the
mounting bracket of the blower assembly. Pull the spring
pin (B) to release the assembly from the blower.

2. The assembly will be reattached to the deck discharge
chute fl ange (C) at the rear of the deck. Attach the latch to
the outside of the deck fl ange using the top hole. Secure
the spring pin the in the bottom hole
