Operation with continuous modulation
This operation is obtained by sending an appropriate signal to the air flap servocontrol so that the power
supplied by the burner can assume any value between a pre-set minimum and maximum.
Continuous modulation is required when the variation in the boiler water temperature or in the steam pressure
must be contained within strict limits.
From the diagram we may note that the stop phase, pre-ventilation phase, flame formation phase and the
phase passing to the maximum power are as described in the previous section.
The effective flame modulation is obtained by equipping the system with the following devices, which come in
kits on request.
- LANDIS boiler probe for temperature or pressure;
- LANDIS RWF 40 regulator with housing for panel installation;
- Field adapter for regulator , controlled by the boiler probe and with setting adapted to the scale of the same
probe.
