6.5 Responsibilities.
El manufacturer is not held responsible for the malfunction or damage caused to the equipment, due to tampering
or modifications and/or using in a non-advised or non-compliant manner or conflicting to other dispositions
mentioned in the present manual. Furthermore the manufacturer is not held accountable for any inaccuracies
contained in this manual, due to printing errors or transcription. The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the
equipment, which are considered to be necessary or useful and harmless to its essential features.
6.6 Protection.
6.6.1 Moving Parts: In accordance with the anti-accident regulations all moving parts (fans, couplings etc.) must be carefully
shielded with appropriate tools (fan covers, cover boards etc.) before starting the pump.
While the pump is running do not get close to moving parts (shaft, fan etc.) and in any other way; if necessary, must
be done with appropriate clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE) and under the law regulations to avoid
catching the clothes.
6.6.2 Noise level: The levels of noise produced by the pumps with the engine connected in series, are within regulations, and it
must be made to notice that in those case where the LpA noise levels exceed 85dB(A) in the places where they are installed,
appropriate acoustic protection must be used according to the applied regulations for such a concept.
6.6.3 Cold and hot parts.
The fluid inside the installation can reach high temperatures and pressures, and can also appear as
steam! BURN DANGER!
Even touching the pumps or parts of the installation can turn out to be dangerous.
In the event that the hot or cold parts could pose dangers, it will be necessary to protect them appropriately to avoid touching them.
7. INSTALLMENT.
It is necessary to install the equipment in a well ventilated place with an ambient temperature that does not exceed 50°C.
7.1 Foundation:
It is the responsibility of the buyer to prepare the foundation, to paint the metal for corrosion prevention, level and reinforce well
enough in order to support efforts. It is necessary to be dimensioned so as to avoid resonance vibrations.
If the foundations are made of concrete, it is necessary to verify that it has forged well and it is totally dry before placing the group.
The support surface will be perfectly flat and horizontal. Once the equipment is placed in the foundation, it is necessary to verify that
it is perfectly leveled making use of a level. If not, it will be required to use adjustment supplements placed between the base and
the foundations next to the anchoring bolts. A solid anchoring at the base of the equipment's support base favors the absorption of
possible vibrations while the equipment works. Tighten thoroughly and evenly all the anchoring bolts.
7.2 Pipes joining:
It is necessary to prevent the metallic tubes from transmitting excessive stress to the intake and rising manifolds of the equipment,
to avoid distortions or breaks. The expansion of the piping caused by thermal effects must be balanced with appropriate measures
in order to prevent the pump being damaged. The pipes' counter flanges must be parallel to the flanges of the equipment.
