6. Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information. If you do
not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we assume
no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The appliance is not to be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision and instruction.
• Children should be supervised not to play with the appliance.
• Never operate the product when children and especially pets are
nearby.
• When using the product, do not overreach, maintain good balance at
all times, always be sure footed when working on slopes or uneven
ground.
• Do not run with the product, in hand.
• Do not touch the cutting blades unless:
- the power is switched off,
- the battery is disconnected,
- all moving parts have come to a complete stop.
• Danger to people and property. Do not use the tool to chop material
for composting.
