3. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant and level surface with suffi cient unobstruct-
ed space above and around the device (approx. 30 cm).
4. Connect the mains plug to a properly installed socket. Make sure that the cord is
not caught between the grill plates! Let the device heat up for approx. 5–10 min-
utes to remove any production residue.
5. Turn the device off by pulling the mains plug out of the socket.
6. Let the device cool off and then clean it again with a soft cloth and a small amount of
mild detergent. Then dry the device thoroughly.

ATTENTION!
■ Attention! Burn hazard! During operation, the device becomes hot. Be absolutely
sure that you do not come into contact with the heated parts such as the housing or
the grill plate during and after using the device. Only touch the designated handles
of the device and use potholders or kitchen gloves to handle the device. Only clean,
transport and stow the device once it has cooled off completely.
■ When opening the device, keep a safe distance to prevent burns by the heat or hot
steam.
The device is suitable for grilling and frying fi sh, meat and vegetables as well as
preparing grilled sandwiches etc.
1. Place the closed grill on a solid, fl at and heat-resistant surface.
2. Connect the device to a properly installed socket. The power light will illuminate as
soon as the device has been connected to the mains supply. Make sure that the cable
does not come into contact with hot surfaces during use.
3. Open the device by folding it open at the handle.
4. Place the food you would like to prepare on the bottom grill plate and close the device.
5. Keep the device closed for a few minutes. Remove your meals once they have been
cooked or browned as desired.
6. Only use wooden or plastic kitchen utensils to remove your meals.
7. Disconnect the device from the mains supply after use and let it cool off before you
clean it.

■ Prior to each cleaning, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
■ Do not submerge the device in water or other liquids in order to clean it.
■ Do not place the device in the dishwasher to clean it.
■ Always let the device cool off before you clean it.
■ Do not use any abrasive or corrosive cleaning devices when cleaning the device.
They could damage the surface.
