If there are not traces of oil with the tank full, contact the service center.
Warning!
Do not use the chainsaw if the oil pump is not working properly.
15.6. Lubrificazione riduttore
To guarantee the correct operation and durability of the chainsaw, it is necessary to add grase to the
gearbox each 20 hrs of work.
Clean the cap, the tank and the surrounding environment with a damp cloth.
Unscrew the head locking ring nut and add 5-10 g of grease.
Tighten the head locking ring nut completely.
USE "VOLPI ORIGINALE" SPRAY GREASE TO ENSURE DURABILITY AND RELIABILITY FOR YOUR TOOLS
Ask for it to your local dealer.
15.7. Pinion and bar inspection
• Disconnect the battery from the chainsaw.
• Use the Allen key supplied to unscrew the two locking nuts ① and remove the cover ②.
• Remove the chain and the bar.
• Measure the depth of the chain groove using a depth gauge.
• If the depth of the groove exceeds 0.5 mm, do not use the chainsaw and contact the service center to
replace the pinion of the chain.
• Measure the depth of the pinion of the chain slot using a depth gauge.
• If the depth is less than 1.1mm, if the bar is damaged or the slot is deformed, replace the bar to avoid
damaging the chain and the chainsaw.
