16. Avoid unintentional starting.
Never move the plugged-in machine with your finger on the
switch. Make sure the switch is off when the power cord is
plugged-in.
17. Extension cords for outdoor use.
When working outdoors, use extension cords rated for outdoor
use and marked as such. When using machines with a ground
connection, an extension cord with a grounded connection should
be used and connected to a grounded outlet.
18. Stay alert.
Do not use tools when impaired by medicine, drugs or alcohol.
Watch what you are doing and use common sense for your safety.
19. Inspect the machine for damage.
Before starting the machine, check that all safety devices and
parts operate smoothly and efficiently. Make sure that all moving
parts are in good working order. Check the machine for any
broken or jamming parts. Make sure all parts are fitted properly
and any other conditions that might affect the proper functioning
of the machine are correct. If not stated otherwise in this manual,
damaged safety devises, switches and machine parts must be
repaired by replaces by a recognized service center. Do not use
the machine when it cannot be switched on or off.
20. Caution!
For your own safety, use only accessories recommended in this
manual. The use of other than the stated accessories or
attachments may cause injury.
Safety Rules for Diamond Wheel Saw
1. Check the following points: The motor and the supply voltage (120
VAC, 60 Hz) match. Use only grounded 3-wire receptacles. Do not
attempt to defeat the grounding feature. Ensure the power cord and
the plug are in good condition.
2. Avoid using overyly long extension cords.
3. Always place the cutting machine on a flat surface to prevent
instability.
4. Never use a cracked diamond saw blade, change worn blades
before using.
5. Make sure the switch is in the "OFF" position (the number "0" is
