Circled numbers refer to the corresponding illustration.
1 Insert four AA batteries into the battery compartment located on
the underside of the unit. Ensure that the correct battery polarity is
observed as shown by the label in the battery compartment.
2 Optional: The unit can be wall mounted. Secure two screws,
vertically positioned at 83 mm or 100mm apart.
3 Connect the telephone cord to the upper or lower socket (
unit and then to the telephone network socket. It makes no difference
which socket is used.
4 Optional: You may connect a telephone to the free socket on the unit
using the included RJ11-RJ11 cable. Please note that some phones
might be wired differently and will not work with the supplied cable.
5 Switch the unit ON/OFF.
Please note that the green LED will not indicate when the unit is
switched ON. It will be lit when there is a ring signal present.
6 Select ringer tone (1-5).
7 Select ringer type (1-5).
8 Select ringer volume (1-5).
Troubleshooting
Change the batteries if necessary.
Make sure the unit is switched ON.
Check that the telephone cord is undamaged and properly plugged in.
Disconnect any additional equipment that may be connected. If the
problem is resolved, the fault is with the other equipment.
