For disassemblage, use spanner provided, applying a
gradual force without jerking. When re-assembling, apply
a moderate torque using the spanner.
6 TORCH BODY , HANDLE AND CABLE.
These parts usually need no particular maintenance
with the exception of a periodic inspection and an
accurate cleaning to be made WITHOUT THE USE OF
SOLVENTS.
WARNING !
- Before making any operation to the torch let it cool at
least for the whole "postgas" period.
- Except for particular cases it is advisable to replace
electrode and nozzle AT THE SAME TIME.
- Respect assembly order of torch parts (reverse order
compared to disassemblage).
Be careful that distributing ring is assembled properly.
- Reassemble nozzle holder screwing tightly and
manually.
- Never assemble nozzle holder without having
assembled electrode distributing ring and nozzle
beforehand. Timely and appropriate control
procedures on torch parts are essential for safety
and functionality of the cutting system.
WARNING !
In case of damages to the insulation such as breaks,
cracks and burns or even a loosening of electric
conductors, the torch CANNOT BE USED FURTHER
SINCE SAFETY CONDITIONS HAVE NOT BEEN
RESPECTED.
IN THIS CASE, REPAIRING (EXTRAORDINARY
MAINTENANCE) CANNOT BE MADE ON SITE BUT
NEEDS TO BE DELEGA TED TO AN AUTHORIZED
SERVICE CENTER TO MAKE SPECIAL TEST
TRIALS AFTER REPAIRING HAS BEEN EXECUTED.
In order to keep the torch and cable efficient it is
necessary to follow these precautions:
- DO NOT touch torch and cable with warm or hot parts.
- DO NOT strain the cable.
- DO NOT move the cable on sharp edges or abrasive
surfaces.
- Gather the cable in regular coils if it is too long.
- DO NOT step on the cable.
POWER SOURCE (MACHINE).
- Inspect the inside of the machine periodically
according to its use and to the place in which it is used.
In case of dust deposits, remove dust on transformer,
rectifier, inductances, and resistors through a flow of
dry compressed air (max.5 bars).
- At the same time verify that electric connections are
tightly shut and that insulated wires are not damaged.
- Do not point compressed air flow on electronic cards
and relevant connectors; use a soft brush to remove
dust deposited on these parts.
- Verify integrity and seal of pipelines and compressed
air connectors.
- At the end of such operations reassemble machine
panels, locking tigthly the screws.
- DO NOT PERFORM CUTTING OPERATIONS WHILE
THE MACHINE IS OPEN.
COMPRESSED AIR FILTER
- The filter drains condense automatically all the times it
is disconnected from the compressed air line.
- Inspect the filter periodically; if the glass contains water,
manual purge can be made pushing upward the drain
connector.
- If the filter cartridge is dirty it has to be replaced in order
to avoid excessive leaks.
DO NOT USE SOLVENTS TO CLEAN THE FIL TER;
USE SOAPY WA TER ONLY .

- Der Elektroanschluß des Plasmaschneidegerätes
muß von geschultem Personal durchgeführt werden
u n d m u ß i n Ü b e r e i n s t i m m u n g m i t d e n
Sicherheitsnormen und- gesetzen stehen.
- Überprüfen Sie, ob der Netzstecker korrekt an die
Erdung angeschlossen ist.
- Bei Speisung mit höherer Spannung darf die
S c h w e i ß m a s c h i n e a u s s c h l i e ß l i c h a n e i n e
Versorgungsanlage mit geerdetem Mittelleiter
angeschlossen werden.
- Vermeiden Sie DIREKTEN Kontakt mit NICHT
isolierten Teilen des "SCHNEIDEKREISLAUFES" (1)
- Verwenden Sie immer Schutzkleidung und -Zubehör,
z.B. Handschuhe, und Isolationsschuhe
- Halten Sie Ihre Schutzkleidung in gutem Zustand, frei
von Schmutz und Rissen
- Verwenden Sie keine schlechtisolierten Kabel oder
lockeren Anschlüsse
- Verwenden Sie die Anlage niemals in feuchter oder
nasser Umgebung, z.B. im Regen
- Schalten Sie das Gerät während der Instandhaltung
des Brenners, z.B. Austausch der Elekrode oder der
Düse, aus

- Schützen Sie die Augen mit speziellen Schutzgläsern
für Schweißer, die auf einer Maske oder einem Helm
angebracht sind: DIN 4-10, je nach Schneideart: auf
Kontakt oder Distanz, und je nach Stromstärke
- Tragen Sie Schutzkleidung, um die Haut nicht den
ultravioletten Strahlen des Bogens auszusetzen.
- Vergewissern Sie sich, daß alle anderen Personen im
Umkreis vor den schädlichen Auswirkungen des
Bogens geschützt sind.
DÄMPFE UND GAS KÖNNEN FÜR IHRE
GESUNDHEIT SCHÄDLICH SEIN
- Sorgen Sie für entsprechende Luftregulierung und
treffen Sie Vorkehrung für den Abzug der Dämpfe in der
"Nähe" des Bogens: z.B. Absaugtische
- Wenn die Lüftung nicht ausreicht, um alle Dämpfe und
Gase abzuziehen, verwenden Sie Einzelabzüge
