POSITIONING THE TRANSMITTER BASE (Figure D)
Position the transmitter on top of your television or its support so that the front is directly facing the observer
(line of sight). Make sure that there is nothing placed in front of the transmitter that could block the path. The
transmitter power is suffi cient to cover a room having an area of 12 m x 12 m.
The transmitter switches on automatically when the TV/audio source is switched on, and remains in low energy
consumption sleep mode when the TV or audio source is switched off.
- Set the volume to a low level (in order to safeguard against sudden loud sounds) before putting the
headphones on.
- To wear the earplugs properly, choose the rubber headset best suited to your ear (earplugs are supplied in
the package in three sizes: small/medium/large). Make sure the earplugs can fi t easily into your ears.
- Fit the earplugs fully inside the ears. If the earplugs do not fi t properly into the ears, sound level and audio
quality will decrease.
- Place the receiver gently on your shoulder and switch it on by pressing press the on/off button; the on/off
indicator lights up.
- Set the audio to a suitable level.
- Adjust the tone control in order to improve the quality and clarity of the speech signal. To do so, adjust
the H/M/L selector according to the type of audio you are listening to (e.g. L for music, emphasizing low
frequencies, M and H to emphasize speech).
- The charging LED on the receiver remains on while the receiver is positioned on the transmitter in order to
recharge the battery. The receiver will operate for 24 hours on a fully charged battery.
- The transmitter can recharge two receivers at the same time. There is no limit to the number of receivers that
can be used with the same transmitter.
- In order to prolong battery life, the receiver switches off automatically when it does not detect an IR signal for
a period of 40-60 seconds.
