This Meliconi HP400 infrared stereo headphones system lets you enjoy high quality stereo sound from your TV or
most common audio reproduction equipment. It uses exclusive, advanced audio transmission technology - High
Defi nition Sound (HDS) – that converts the TV audio output into a beam of infrared light (IR) which is transmitted
wirelessly to a receiver. This technology signifi cantly increases the range of the Meliconi headphones: This
means that you can listen to clear speech and stereo sound wherever you are in the room, provided that you
remain in visual contact with the transmitter. The transmitter may be connected to your TV and other audio
sources such as DVD and Blu Ray players, CD players, HiFi systems, radios, PCs or notebooks.
- The unit may only be used with rechargeable batteries of the type provided.
- In order to avoid the risk of fi res or electric shocks, do not expose the unit to drops or splashes, and do not
place any items containing liquids, such as vases, on top of it.
- In order to avoid electric shocks, do not attempt to open the external cover.
- Do not attempt to repair the headphones; all repairs should be carried out by qualifi ed personnel.
- Prolonged exposure to furniture polish can cause the rubber feet mounted on the transistor to deteriorate,
which could, in turn, stain the furniture. In order to prevent this, place the transmitter on top of a mat or a
small cushion.
- Do not install the device in enclosed spaces, such as bookcases or cupboards.
- Do not expose the batteries or the device where the batteries are installed to sources of excessive heat, such
as direct sunlight, stoves, radiators, fi res or similar.
- Since the main power supply plug is used to disconnect the power supply from the main switch, make sure
that it is connected to an easily accessible socket. In the event of a fault with the power supply, disconnect it
from the socket immediately.
- This sound system is intended for personal and domestic use only.
In order to avoid hearing damage, do not use the headphones at high volumes for prolonged periods
