Read and follow these instructions before using the extraction hood:
• Keep this installation and operating manual near the filter unit.
• Guarantee an appropriate operation of the unit. An inappropriate operation of the extraction hood can harm individuals!
• Acquaint the operating personnel with the unit before commissioning it.
• Make sure that the extraction hood does not extract sparks or other glowing parts, such as burning cigarettes.
Caution: If glowing or burning parts enter the unit, the exhaustion hood can catch fire or the dust can explode in the pipe
system and/or the extraction hood.
• Do not exhaust aggressive substances such as lye or acid air. This can result in irreparable damage to the extraction hood.
• Do not exhaust flammable dust. The dust could inflame in the inside of the extraction hood or even become explosive when mixed with air.

4. Installation of the extraction hood variohood

Please guarantee a clean and soft surface in order to prevent scratches.
Step 1 - Pushing the corner joint into the intermediate profile
Intermediate profile
Push a corner joint into an intermediate profile. This constitutes the width of the extraction hood.
Step 2 - Removing the perforation / mounting the intermediate profiles
Before mounting the next intermediate profiles, remove the connecting link at the perforation of one of the profiles.
Please note: If the extraction hood is set up on supporting stands, please remove the perforation which
adjacent the corners.
Now connect the intermediate profiles to the corner joints.
