Optional: Installation with KXB
The vent tray kit KXB (article-no.: 893450) is an accessory for the BCS160/175 which
replaces the venting cut out 'C'. The warm exhaust air is routed through the KXB and
will be blown out directly in front of the cupboard.
The BCS can be placed on the KXB and can be mounted together with it in the cup-
board.
1. Before installing the vent tray kit, make sure an air inlet into the cupboard is fitted.
The provided ventilation grilles can be used if the air inlets are sized as cut outs 'A'
or 'B'.
2. For marking purposes, place the assembled vent tray kit in a suitable position on
the cupboard floor. Verify that there is sufficient clearance around the BCS (min.
50 mm) and all hose and tube connections will be reached.
3. Mark the position of the outlet duct (see picture position '1') on the front of the
2
cupboard floor.
4. Adjust the depth of the main box section '2' by sliding the box back to suit the
depth of the BCS (max. 50 mm). Check that both sides of the main box are parallel
with the outlet duct section by using the alignment marks '3' on both sides of the
main box.
5. Mark the position of the main box on the cupboard floor and remove the complete
vent tray kit.
6. Cut an outlet vent into the front of the cupboard floor between the marks made
in step 3. The cut out should be 450 mm wide. The depth should reach as close as
possible to the kickboard (max. 43 mm).
max. 50
7. Place the main box according to your marks from step 5 and secure it with the four
large screws supplied.
8. Refit the outlet duct to the front of the main box and secure it with the two small
screws supplied.
9. Place the BCS160/175 on the KXB and install the side mounted air duct as
described.
