WWC 1600
Generally, adapters, multiple sockets and / or extension cables should not
be used. However, if necessary, only use single or multiple adapters and
extension cables, which comply with existing safety standards, making
sure however that the current carrying capacity limits, marked on the
single adapter and on the extension cables, as well as the maximum
power limit marked on the multiple adapter, are not exceeded.
• Make sure that the electrical system is equipped with a circuit breaker
(life-saving kind).
• The use of any electric appliance involves compliance with certain basic
rules. In particular:
- never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands;
- never use the appliance with bare feet;
- never pull the power cord or the appliance to remove the plug from
the wall socket;
- never leave the appliance outdoors where it can be exposed to the
weather conditions (rain, such, etc.);
- never let children or disabled persons use the appliance unattended.
• Turn off the appliance and do not tamper with it in any way if it becomes
faulty and/or operates in an incorrect way. Repairs must only be carried
out by a customer service centre authorized by the manufacturer. Always
insist on genuine spare parts.
Failure to comply with this recommendation could impair the safety of
the appliance.
• Should you decide to stop using an appliance of this type, remember to
render it unusable by cutting off the power cable after having removed
the plug from the power socket.
Also make sure that all parts of the appliance liable to constitute a danger
are made harmless, particularly for children who could decide to use an
old appliance as a toy.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while it's functioning.
