External 4 – 20 mA level probe
"4 - 20 mA Interface" must be selected in the menu under "Level Control".
An external two-wire 4 - 20 mA sensor can be connected to terminals 25 and 26.
The sensor is supplied with a stabilised D.C. voltage of approximately 24 V. On delivery, the measuring range
of the level probe is set so that it matches the measuring range of the internal pressure sensor. If a level probe
with a different measuring range is connected, the relevant setting must be changed in the menu (see section
4.2).
The relevant regulations must be observed for use in areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere.
6.8
Analogue outputs
The terminals (spring-loaded terminals) for the analogue outputs are located underneath the panel and are
used for connecting the outputs to control systems. The signals change proportionally to the level.
When opening the switchgear (removing the panel or terminal cover) or working on the pumps, it is imperative
that the control system is always disconnected from the power supply via the back-up fuse or a separate main
switch.
4 - 10 mA = terminals 46 (+) and 47 (-) have a maximum load impedance of 10 mA
0 - 10 V = terminals 48 (+) and 49 (-) can be subjected to max. 10 mA
The terminal is configured for core cross-sections of 0.2 - 0.75 mm (rigid/flexible).
The length of the lines for the analogue outputs must not exceed 1.50 m and must not be routed together with
faulty lines.

Test operation without pump
7.1
The following must be observed in order to test the control system without pumping:
- Connecting N and L1 is sufficient
- The motor current limitation must be set to 0 A, otherwise the message "L with no load" will be displayed
- Terminals 32/33 and 39/40 must be jumpered, otherwise the message "Thermal fault 2" will be displayed
- The thermal faults for pumps 1 und 2 must be disabled in the Settings menu, otherwise the message
"Thermal fault 1" will appear in the display
