NOTE:
• Make sure the power cord does not become twisted
with the repeated turning of the appliance. For this
reason, always turn the appliance once to the right and
once to the left.
1. Set up the appliance so that you can see both indicator
lights.
2. Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed
socket. Both indicator lights are lit. The appliance will
begin heating up immediately.
3. Once the appliance has heated up, open the baking
surfaces using the handle.
4. For best results, use a pastry brush to spread some
shortening on both baking surfaces. Alternatively, spray
the baking surface lightly with edible cooking oil. This
will make it easier to remove the waffles once they have
finished baking.
5. Add some dough to the middle of the lower baking surface.
Spread the dough using a silicone spoon, for example.
NOTE:
• The recesses in the baking surface should be filled,
but the outer edge should remain clear.
• The dough should be filled in quickly as otherwise
the wafers will not brown evenly.
6. Close the appliance. In order to spread the dough
evenly, we recommend immediately turning the appli-
ance around 180 ° degrees. Grasp the appliance by the
handle as you do this.
Now, you will only see the green indicator light on the
appliance.
7.
WARNING:
Be careful of the emitted steam. Risk of burns!
NOTE:
• The baking process lasts approx. 3 minutes. This
may vary depending on the consistency of the
mixture.
