4 INSTALLATION

Hydraulic connections

The hydraulic connections are indicated below:
Verify that the hoses are suitable for the maximum
operating pressure.
A1 Connect the pump's delivery hose to this
fitting and secure with a suitable clamp.
A2 Connect the drain hose (return to tank) to
this fitting and secure with a suitable clamp.
A3 Connect the drain hose (return to tank) to
this fitting and secure with a suitable clamp.
A4 Connect the hoses of the various boom
sections to these fittings and secure with a
suitable clamps.
A5 Connect a suitable pressure gauge to this
point (or insert a plug).
A6 Connect a suitable pressure gauge to this
point (opening the hole with a Ø6mm bit).
A7 Connect the drain hose (return to tank) to
this fitting and secure with a suitable clamp.
The A2 drain fitting is an integral part of the
antidrip system for back suctioning of fluid in the
distribution circuit when the main valve is off.
The antidrip system does not function when the
section valves are closed.
The A2 drain fitting must be chosen according to the flow rate of the fluid coming from the pump.
Possible types are shown below:

The hoses used for the connections must be the right size for the hosetails and secured with special hose clamps.

Special precautions

Contact Tecomec technicians concerning any doubts or special operations during control unit installation.
To optimize system operation, the various outlets draining to the tank should be independent.
Position the drain hoses at the top of the tank.
Connecting the drain hoses to the bottom of the tank to use them as agitators is prohibited..

The hosetails on the section valves must be chosen
according to the flow rate that must be guaranteed to
the sprayers.
