6 MAINTENANCE

Replacing components

Replacing the section valve motor unit and the
main valve motor unit
- Remove the screw of the plug
power cable.

- Remove the fork connector
- Extract the motor unit
valve body.
- Disconnect the faston connectors from the valve body
(using a pair of pointed pliers), carefully noting the
position of the wires.
- Lubricate the cam on the new motor with grease.
- Connect the faston connectors of the new motor unit, to
the valve body, carefully placing the wires in the correct
position (prior to disassembly).
- Insert the new motor unit
- Lock into place with the fork connector
- Reconnect the plug

The motor unit is supplied wired with electrical cards and
motor cover.

Replacing the volumetric valve

- Remove the plug's screw and disconnect the power
cable.
- Remove the fork connector
- Extract the motor cover
- Disconnect the faston connectors from the motor cover
(using a pair of pointed pliers), carefully noting the

- Extract the motor unit
- Insert the new motor.
- Insert the new electrical card support (complete).
- Connect the faston connectors to the motor cover
carefully placing the wires in the correct position (prior
to disassembly).
- Insert the motor cover
- Lock into place with the fork connector
- Reconnect the plug and secure with the screw.
The motor unit is supplied wired and complete with a
support for electrical cards.

Replacing the fuse ("compact" series panels)

F1 - Extract the fuse

Replacing the hosetail

This sequence of operations can be used for the main valve
and the section valves.
- Extract the fork connector
- Remove the hosetail
- Disconnect the hosetail's hose, loosening the relative
clamp.
- Connect the hose to the new hosetail and tighten the clamp.
- Lubricate the gasket
- Insert the hosetail into the relative housing and secure it
with the fork connector.

Cleaning the filter on the delivery line

If present, periodically clean the filter on the delivery line.
- Loosen the ring nut
- Remove the filter cover
- Extract the internal cartridge.
- Backwash well with water and dry with compressed air.
- Reposition the cartridge and cover on the filter body and
retighten the ring nut.
